Winter Camps

The purpose of our Winter Camps is to fully evaluate your kicking mechanics and see where we can improve!   The off-season is a great opportunity to grow as a kicker…the problem is, we don’t have many opportunities to get a lot of good training during the winter months.  You’ll leave this camp with a better understanding of what you need to do in order to take your game to the next level. Learn the proper techniques and find out what it takes to fully maximize your potential, not just on the field, but in all aspects of being an athlete.

Camp will include: On field portion of camp will include teaching & instruction of techniques, drill-work, charting, competition scenarios.   Following the on field portion of camp, parents and athletes will take part in a seminar.   This seminar will include a film review session, as well as information on strength & conditioning, sports psychology, nutrition, academics, and recruiting.  Each camper will receive a Taylor Mehlhaff Kicking Dri Fit T-shirt.

When you leave camp, the goal is that you walk away with a true understanding of your style conceptually, which allows you to become more consistent and efficient in what you’re trying to accomplish as an athlete.   Our film session review will include analysis of yourself, as well as a study of both college and NFL kickers, punters, and snappers.   The strength and conditioning portion of camp will encompass all things to help you gain strength, speed, and improve mobility / flexibility.

The idea of the recruiting seminar is to educate you on topics such as: how to navigate the kicking camp circuit, what college coaches are looking for from a film standpoint, academic requirements, how to look at college roster needs, how to both connect with and  make your skill set more attractive to college coaches, etc.

Spring Camps

Our Spring camps are designed to prepare you for the important upcoming summer of training!  Whether you are looking to showcase yourself to college coaches or begin fine-tuning your skills heading into July training camps for your season, NOW is the time to prepare yourself for a valuable summer of preparation!  Learn the proper techniques and find out what it takes to fully maximize your potential as a specialist.

Camp will include: Teaching & instruction of techniques, drill-work, charting, competition scenarios, film review session, strength and conditioning information, and a recruiting seminar.  Each camper will receive a Taylor Mehlhaff Kicking shirt.
